CARNIVAL PROCESSION

The Carnival Procession has a start time of 6pm and follows the new route straight along the seafront from West Road Car Park to Victoria Road.

The usual excitement, noise and spectacle of a Carnival Procession will include Marching Bands, majorettes, local and national floats, and many visiting Carnival Queens from other towns with the whole Procession being led by our very own Carnival Queen and her Princesses.

The Theme for the Procession is “CIRCUS TIME” which should encourage plenty of spectacular and colourful floats. There will be two main charities to benefit from monies collected and they are the Clacton Maternity Unit which needs funds to equip their new Birthing Pool and the local branch of St. John Ambulance who need a Portable Patient Monitor.
