The Carnival Procession has a start time of 6pm and follows the usual route straight along the seafront from West Road Car Park to Victoria Road.

The usual excitement, noise and spectacle of a Carnival Procession will include 4 Marching Bands, majorettes, local and national floats, and many visiting Carnival Queens from other towns with the whole Procession being led by our very own Carnival Queen and her Princesses.

The Theme for the Procession is ‘FAIRY TALES’ which should encourage plenty of spectacular and colourful floats. This year the collection is for the Clacton branch of the RNLI who need to upgrade some items of protective clothing for the Crew to improve their safety, efficiency and comfort whilst they are at sea. This is a very worthy cause and we are sure it will be well supported by the public.
